Well I'm quite obviously into sailing but being a sailor in milwuakee obviously provides some challenge 7-8 months of the year. So like many of the other sailors have realized skiing is a great way to pass the long winter months. I ski because I love to ski, not just to burn time. Last year after some persuasion I joined my highschools ski team and fell in love with racing. This year I went to several camps and also started racing for my club. Our team had a great start but suffered some rough defeats part way through. Due to the chaotic fluctuation of weather this season there were several make-up meets and whatever combination of wins and losses we needed came through. So after one long and stressful weekend I am infact going to Mount LaCrosse this weekend to race at the state meet. For most of the day I have been jumping around school and running up to my friends to remind them for the gazilionth time that IM GOING TO STATE!!!
